I finished a set of projects!!!

When I made this

it was inspired by this (from wood & wool stool)
via

Kind of a stretch huh?  I still really liked the inspiration piece and wanted to do a more direct interpretation.  I didn't have any "real" discarded wood (with paint on it at least) so I had to create some, but this what I came up with

and further exploration of the inspiration website - inspired this

and this

and this (I really liked being able to repurpose my vintage cookie cutters - which I never use)

I'm rather liking these.  I will make more.  Need to go scrap shopping - I would like to have some more authentic colors.  Also I want to do something like a mounting board - where I can use Velcro to change out the words or phrases.  I think that would be fun!

Didn't spend a dime on these puppies and that makes me smile - as I do when I look at them.

Do they make you smile?

Have you made anything wonderful lately?  Do it!

Make something wonderful today!

Karen

PS - I've been playing around with PicMonkey.  Can you tell?  It is a little more intuitive than Photoshop.  Have you tried it yet?

Yes, I'm smiling!

Love that you created your own painted scraps of wood - and the wording on everything is so fun! (not to mention those little hand holding gingys)!

Yes, I use PicMonkey - it's the only way my photos look semi presentable!

What a great idea to do a velcro board so the sayings can be changed out. Love your signs.

I love all your ideas, but what I think I love the most is the quote about some people only having money. Too true!

Great signs! I'm loving your ideas with the cookie cutters. I have A LOT of cutters.. I do use them but there are some I don't use and been contemplating what to do with them! Thanks for the inspiration!!

I'm a "word" person, so I love ALL of your signs! Using the cookie cutters above the last one was a cute idea. ;)

Thanks for joining Time Travel Thursday. I hope to see you again this week.

Blessings,
