A Little Sunshine...
Do you see it? Do you see what I see? That grey area at the bottom left and the back right of the picture?
That's a shadow. Shadows are a sure sign of bright sunshine. I love shadows. Especially in early March. In the bottom right quadrant of the picture the snow is about two feet deep. This is where a lot of the snow from the driveway gets shoveled. Piles of snow melt much more slowly than a regular layer of snow. It would have to be about 45 degrees outdoors for this pile to melt.
But I have hope.
Two feet of hope.
Enough hope that I took down the winter wreath from the front door.
Enough hope that I got out the hydrangea petals I saved from my Limelight Hydrangea.
The same ones I made my Valentines Day/hoping for spring garland with...
Enough hope that I pulled the leaves off of my "fail" copycat wreath I made at Christmas time and glued the little flowerettes onto the twigs.
And finally, enough hope that I hung it on the front door.
A public announcement that I have fallen head over heals in hope for spring.
It all makes me feel a bit vulnerable...
Make something wonderful today!
