Haven 2013

I'm sure there are at least 250 posts out in blog land where you can find out about all the HOWs of Haven.

HOW wonderful it was to be at Haven.

HOW great it was to meet some of the people you call blog friends.

HOW fantastic all the sponsors were.

HOW fun it is to gather all the swag.

HOW good it feels to get away from the responsibilities of home.

So let's just assume that you know the HOWs.

Here are some of my highlights

I got to hang out with my people. People who I usually only get to talk to online. Like Deneen@Dreaming in Color (you may know her as The Queen of Swag), Kirby@Kirb Appeal (the Dancing Queen) and Lorraine@Miss Flibbertigibbet (the Queen of - well many things, like parenting and painting).

I cheered on the inside when Ana White assured me that I don't have to worry about SEO.

I played a little corn hole with the chicks from the Home Depot.

I went to the Advanced Painting class with my friend Lorraine@Miss Flibbertigibbet and met Miss Mustard Seed. She may be one of the dearest people on the face of the earth.

I was entertained by the girls from Shanty 2 Chic. They're kind of cute, don't you think? And they are pretty good with a saw.

I was treated royally by the RYOBI NATION. As were all the other bloggers at the great party they threw for us.

I met Mark Hartman from RYOBI. Just one less letter and I would have been laughing with Mark Harmon. Damn! (who is that woman with the freakishly long fingers that bend backwards?)

I witnessed great demonstrations of affection. This is Deneen again and Sandra Powell from Sawdust Girl.

I showed a little affection of my own. That's Janis from All Things Beautiful. A true beauty that lady is.

I loved seeing girls wielding tools.

And because of a small little room glitch, I got to sleep with a complete stranger for the first time in - well ever. That's Brooke@Designed by BH - the one on the right. She was a sweetheart of a roommate. It was great to meet you Brooke!

I have to say that before I blogged, I had never met anyone who loves making stuff like I do.  Just knowing you guys are out there makes me happy

Thanks for a great time ladies!!! (notice the 3 exclamation points)

Make something wonderful today!
