Screen Door - Ashville, NC

Previously on Somewhat Quirky...

I mentioned that I did a little shopping at a place called Screen Door in Ashville, North Carolina.

I liked this place.

I liked it a lot.

You know how when you go to antique/craft/art/stuff malls you have to have a lot of patience because you have to filter through a whole lot of nothin' to see the somethin'?

Well this place has very little nothin' -

and a whole lot of somethin'.

I could have spent thousands of dollars here.

THOUSANDS.

You must go there.

And see all the somethin'.

Because it looks a lot better in person than in these crappy pictures from my really old phone.

Other things you must know about Screen Door.

They have a book store.

The service was remarkable.

They have a store cat!

They aren't just for junkers.

There was new stuff.

And funky stuff.

And junky stuff.

And creative junky stuff.

If you go to their website you can see the incredible photo gallery. Which is much better than these sorry pictures.

I WILL be going back.

With money.

Make something wonderful today!

Karen

P.S. I found almost all of the pricing to be very competitive and somewhat lower than I was used to seeing - although pricing certainly varies by area.

The pictures really aren't bad! I'm convinced to go! :)
And I can see how you would be tempted to spend thousands!

Awesome place! That's like a place where mine and Mr. Wonderful's worlds collide. I also saw a great idea that I plan on trying!
