The Barn Sale

The barn sale is over. For now.

I can't complain about the sale. But there is a lot left to sell.

We are going to bring everything into town here and have another sale in October. It will be a mix of stuff from the Barn Sale, several pieces I have painted, and household items and clothes from a few homes - including mine.

We are pretty sure the market will be better here for some of the antique items.

We will also have some of the live edge tables and handcrafted gates from the sale.

I love the gates. I wish I had the money to buy several of them. Maybe someday in the future.

I was thinking hard about this wooden shelf. I didn't get a picture of the bottom of it, but the way the wood was all curliequed around the knot was absolutely beautiful. Someone else bought it. That was a good thing.

Wouldn't this be a great bench for your mudroom or entryway?

If you have a small entryway like I do this little three legged table is perfect. It is only $100!

That slab is cool, too. It is about 4 feet long.

I did buy 5 of these driftwood hooks to make something with - probably a towel rack for Mr. Quirky's bathroom. They are gorgeous.

A few pictures I took during down time at the sale I took a few (really a few) pictures of some items around the garden.

I could live with these things in my garden. Maybe that metal bug would scare off some of my army of spiders...

Make something wonderful today!

I saw several pieces I would love to have, but since I live nowhere near you, it isn't going to happen.

I could not comment on this post this morning...don't know why, but I tried 3 times! Karen, I don't know how you managed to NOT come home with a trailer load from this sale. Such fun stuff!
