I have a confession to make.
My cat is a tail sucker.
It started early.
Right after I took him away from his brothers and sisters.
Shortly after they were taken away from their mama.
This is what I go to bed to every night and wake up to every day.
He cuddles his very small, very soft, furry body between my shoulder and my ear -
and tail sucks.
It's just gross.
And yes, you hear it.
It's all sucky. And gristle-ly.
Then he gets up and walks around and drags his wet, sucky tail across my face, or my shoulder, or anything . . .
They say it is normal.
That a lot of cats do it.
They say it's just like when cats knead, or lick your face or hands.
But I'm so ashamed.
I would throw him out of bed, but there is something so soothing about this itty-bitty 5 pound cat - his fur is so soft that he somehow touches me to my soul.
And I'm working on that shame thing.
Perhaps now I will feel better.
Now that I've confessed.
Anything that you need to confess?
That will make you feel better?
