Coco Highboy

I am in full mama and grandmama mode.

As I write his there is a beautiful baby boy on my chest.

I came across some pictures of the highboy chest that was painted to match the dresser that I painted before Christmas.

The dresser had been delivered long ago to its home in the burbs.

So this one was painted with a wing and a prayer that it would match exactly.

I think we did a great job, but I did have to photograph it with my cell phone with weird lighting so I'm not sure that the pictures will reflect the match. (or even how REALLY pretty it is)

Yes, this is yet another 2-color distress piece that comes without a tutorial.

And I'm apologizing again, but not really feeling sorry, because of the whole grandson thing.

Oh! How did that picture get in here?????

You may or may not remember that this is done in Coco Chalk Paint® over Primer Red Chalk Paint®, then covered with both Clear Wax and Dark Wax.

That is all.

I hope all is going well for you. I'm sure you are wrapped up in May activities.

Seems like May is the busiest month of the year for most people.

Oh, yea, and I hope you had a great mother's day with lots of family yesterday.

See ya!
