Christmas Tour 2015

Hello!

I'm glad you're here!

Come on in!

It's Christmas tour day!

Just for fun I'm sharing this tour over at Jen Rizzo's today. She has a great Holiday Homewalk every year. After we say good-bye you'll want to stop by.

Since I updated the living room and dining room a bit this year I tried to really change up the way I used my decorations.

I didn't buy anything new.

I did make those new ornaments.

And a couple of other things that won't be in the tour, but will arrive later this week.

Now that you're inside, I think I'll sit down in the corner and relax while you look around.

I continue to find uses for those toothpick snowballs that I made in 2003.

Every year I say, "I think I'll quit using those toothpick things . . ." and then I change up my mind.

At this point I haven't gotten out any of my green trees.  And unless I decide to decorate my bedroom I probably won't.  That means a lot less ornaments to put away.

But.

You never know.

A friend came over Wednesday and helped me move some furniture out, in, and around.

I'm pretty dang happy with the changes we made.

And YES the settee was a success at Thanksgiving.

No food was spilled on it.

No one got a pin in the butt from the pins I still have in the cushion cover.

Whew!

When I don't have company sitting in it, it mostly serves as Sammy's throne.

In case you're to make some of the things you see in my tour:

Go here for the pine cone Christmas trees

Go here for the pom-pom wreath.

Go here for the toothpick snowballs.

Go here for the black and leaf Christmas ornaments.

Go here for the pine cone wreath.

On your way out be sure to grab another look at the white tree. I'm missing my white, pink, and silver tree from the last couple of years, but I think I'll love this one once I fine tune the decorating on it a little bit.

Thanks so much for visiting!

I would love to see your Christmas decor so if you leave a link in my comments I'll stop by!

Your decor is so sophisticated!

I am still working on my decor and then have to take pics. I am joining 2 different home tours - one next week and another the following week. If I would get off the window seat and get to work, I could finish decorating the garden and take the photos. But, it's cold outside, or at least cold by our standards.

Hi Karen,
Your trees look beautiful. Love our toothpick balls hanging on the mantel. Love the little white angel vignette with the white trees too. It all looks so pretty and festive.
