He Is Here!

Hi y'all!

I've been busy being a granny.

I've been doing a few other things, but for today let's just say that I've been mama-ing and grandma-ing.

The best part of the whole day of labor and birth was having Shannon's sister Emily as her labor and delivery nurse. Well, except for the whole son/grandson thing. Having her around was such a blessing. Thank you Emily.

He was so alert - ready to meet everyone!

I'm busy.

Very, very, busy.

Because someone will ask, and I didn't tell you, his name is Fisher Reid, he was born May 6, 9:45 pm, 8 lbs 13 oz, 20.5 inches long.  And he is beautiful.

Aww, Karen, he's perfect! Love all the photos, but especially the one of him greeting his mama, and your son and you each holding him. Love his name, and he's a lil sack 'o potatoes big! Enjoy your time, and a very special Happy Mother's Day to you and mama!

OMG! Can there be a better Mother's Day gift than a new baby in the family? You are blessed my friend, he's so precious. Those hands and those feet. Aw, and I remember the smell too. I'm so happy for you Karen, and for the new Mama and Daddy and your family. Your face is glowing in that last pretty.
